LDD is proud to be a member of the Reeves + Young design/build team for Westside Park which opened August 17, 2021.  Mayor Keisha Lance Bottom joined a number of City officials for the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to kick off the opening of the Park which is located on the site of the former Bellwood Rock Quarry along the Atlanta Beltline.  LDD provided design services for the support structures on the first phase which includes a restroom pavilion adjacent to the Birth of Atlanta sculpture, a restroom adjacent to the playground, and a restroom building and free-standing pavilion at the Open Lawn.  What will eventually be a 280-acre park, this is the largest green space in Atlanta where families and friends can come together in a healthy atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors for biking, walking or skating.
