Lyman Davidson Dooley, Inc. (LDD), a Georgia corporation, was established August 1, 1988 as a result of the desire of its two Principals, Steven G. Lyman AIA, NCARB and Rowland Davidson, AIA, ASID, to challenge their professional abilities in quality, service and design.
In 1994, the Nashville, Tennessee office opened and a new partner joined the team. The company’s name changed to its current name, Lyman Davidson Dooley, Inc. Two years later, LDD expanded into the Tampa market. Today, LDD employs 25 professionals and administrative support staff companywide. We are organized in a studio structure with design teams focusing on specific construction markets that include: Church, Corporate, Education, Government, Healthcare, Industrial/Parking, Mixed-Use, Recreation, and Retail. Each Studio is led by a Studio Director who guides the team throughout the design process and brings exceptional experience and expertise in their specific area of design. Each Studio Director is supported by Project Managers and Designers as well as other support staff available for your project.

Our philosophy is to understand the goals of our clients, integrate building materials, systems, and technology, and through an interactive design process create a solution that exceeds expectations. The firm strives to meet the functional, budgetary, and aesthetic parameters of each project through a high level of personal service and attention to detail. We strongly believe in our public responsibility to create spaces that are safe, environmentally sensitive, evocative and forward thinking.
